Here we go again!

Hello everyone!  So I know, I know, it has been a long time since I posted because things have been a bit hectic since getting back from England.  I found out was pregnant pretty much as soon as we got back, and Patrick and I have been almost sitting on the knowledge until we had out first scan, on Tuesday earlier this week!

So far so good, except I am already huge, and have been really sick.  No not morning sickness sick, but the squatter inside of me has leeched every single part of nutrition in me and the first month of pregnancy, that I knew about, I had a cold and 2 cold sores.  And I had the shits basically every day for the first 8 weeks.  AND on Tuesday I got a sore throat and then on Wednesday it progressed into some awful seriously bad cold/stomach bug with vomiting/flu/sinus infection thing.  I honestly thought I was going have to squash my head in a vice on Thursday night.  I had ice packs on my eyes, blurring vision, couldn't walk.  I didn't get out of bed all day, which is very unlike me.  The puking stopped late Thursday evening and Friday I had some brown toast and some mashed potato.  My stomach is still not happy, but I can at least SEE again, and I just feel like I have a cold now.

But it is a holiday weekend!  Yay!  Monday off work!  I was barely at work last week, but never mind. Work is good, but holy crap busy.  One of the people I work along side is a fucking idiot though and it is driving me INSANE.

Also... lots of our friends have had babies! Ria had baby Austin (cutie pie), Allison had baby Reagan (another cutie), Jon and Danielle had Eva (you guessed it... cutie pie) the day I realized I was preggo and Megan had baby Max (also a cutie) and there are still a few more ready to go... Karen and baby Paige, Natalie and baby Hector (I think that was she was going to call him) and Dylan and Lex with secretly named baby boy... we'll see what we are having.  Patrick hopes for a boy.  He hopes for a boy so I kinda hope that he gets a boy you know?  Then he won't be so outnumbered and he can do boy stuff with him and his Dad, the three of them.  But I would be happy with a girl.  Won't lie - pretty nervous about having a boy, too much going on "down there"...  but we'll find out what the sex is for planning purposes.

We are also looking at buying a house before the due date (mid March) and now the pressure is really on!  We have a nest egg and some steps to get sorted out first, and I should have my green card (10 year) next month so nothing really stopping us.  Once I have that, I'll get pre-approved and then start working seriously with an agent. We know what we what and where, and have been looking casually online a bit.  So we'll see what happens.
