Back again!

One of those days today. Honestly couldn't be bothered with anything. Addie was very cute atleast and 'helped' me with the laundry. This consisted of throwing it around going "SOCKS! [SAULKS!] which was adorable.

My stomach has been pretty bad again of late. At the risk of sounding like a moaning minnie, oh my god it sucks balls so badly. I have been doubling up on my medication hoping that it might help. I just Googled it to see if it was okay to do so, and apparently it is, in certain cases, but I will phone my doctor again tomorrow and cry and moan at them. I'm so miserable. I hate it. The thing is, I'm feeling so bloated at the moment I can't even enjoy being a bit skinnier and I am so tired because I've been waking up and staying away for extended periods when I should have been asleep, which has made me even more crabby. I expect I'll feel fine tomorrow, such is the way it is.

Applied to a few more jobs. My main moan with job people is that no one really seems to reply or respond to things. If they don't want you, nothing. If you email and recruitment agency expressing an interest in a job and want to sign up to their agency, so far nothing. Honestly. How does business get done in this country? I know things are tight at the moment, but really, it isn't very good business practice at all. I have a lot of experience in my field and would be of a lot of use to a firm, I am sure of it. How long do I leave it before I start chasing up and kicking arses? I also followed up about my interview. I thought it weird that I hadn't heard back either way from the place I went for an interview 2 weeks ago today, but they haven't even gotten around to the second round yet because the boss wants to do them, and he is too busy. I think I might have to tell him that he wouldn't have been so busy had he hired me on the spot before hahah! The lady I spoke too was very nice and she said that they "hadn't forgotten about" me which was nice and promising I guess.

Patrick's friend Nate bought/wants to buy a car, but the only drawback is that it is in Kentucky. Patrick said that Nate offered to buy his plane ticket if he came down with him and drove back up. Patrick said no obviously and told me about, seeing the funny side because he knew my answer, which was outright NO. HELL NO. Don't get me wrong, if we weren't living here, and I had a job or something to do (charity work, crime, fun etc) and a way of getting around and Addie was in daycare, I would say "Sure you know what, you deserve a break, go have fun" but as it is, NO FUCKING WAY IS HE LEAVING ME HERE. At first I said sure, if you take Addie with you, but then I realized that I would still be here. And I hate it here, so no. he isn't going anywhere just yet. We joked about because Nate was saying (at least as I understood it, typical man who has no kids etc) that he should just go one day after work and not come home and then phone me from Kentucky. Well I think we all know how that would have gone. I would have gone on an epic rampage and then marched myself to the airport and gone home, with the mindset if Patrick can have a holiday so can I. Hah! But seriously though, Patrick wouldn't have gone, and I thought it cute how he told me about the proposal from Nate. What a lovely considerate husband I have!

As you can tell, the heat and my stomach has gotten to me somewhat.
