In typical epic style, my blogging has failed again. My laptop died whilst I was away. I think it is the charger, or the connector for the charger, as it has been giving me trouble in the past, but apparently on this trip, it decided to not work, so when my battery ran out, that was it. It is an old black Macbook and I don't know anyone with an old charger that I can use to test... and I don't want to buy a new one off the bat just in case it isn't that... although I could get on off Ebay for $20 it seems. Maybe, depending on my need, I'll suck that cost up and get one, but I might take it to the Apple Store to have them check it first. More likely the first one. For now I am using "Addie's" Netbook, which is a PC and super weird and unfamiliar to me.
We got back from England on Friday. Had a great time, although I was being a little bit driven mad by my family. I love them to death but this is why we all live far away. I spent a lot of time cleaning up after my Dad (nothing changes, however Adelaide should be my main priority and my Dad sometimes doesn't seem to get that) and driving, which I didn't mind. It was nice to drive at home again! It is nice going home, and seeing friends, and eating food you are familiar with (in this case to excess... whoops!) but it is bittersweet when you get back to your new home, where you are happy, but you're not a local as such, and you realize just how much you miss your friends and that you probably won't see them again for another 18 months and how much you're going to miss in each others lives.
I am so run down from the trip; lack of sleep, stress, poor diet, impending lady time... so my skin is a mess and I have a cold sore and a mouth full of canker sores. The jet lag is passing a bit, so that should help. I am stocking up on vitamins and hopefully going to eat a bit better. I MISS RUNNER BEANS! Fresh sliced runner beans, steamed are the best thing ever. Can you get runner beans here? I have not managed to find them. Maybe I should look in Trader Joes or Whole Foods? That is probably not a bad idea actually.
I feel like I need another vacation from the one I just had.

Ooh I didn't even know you were going, I've been so out of the bloggy world! Do you have loads of pictures, I hope?? How did Adelaide like it? I'm so excited you got to have a visit! I'm praying you ate tons of nice sweets :)
