Heavy going

This has been/is an extremely heavy going week. And it is only Tuesday! Urgh. Please lighten up week. You are throwing shit my way every which way possible, I can't escape.

Relief has come this week though, in the form of sweet delicious treats from the lovely Amy, namely Wispas and Tunnocks AND two Babycham fawns! I think I posted about these ages ago, but I can't find the post... now I have them. Thanks Amy. They look amazing and really have brightened up my day.

Things here otherwise are good. The weather has turned more realistically English, lots of chance of rain, and then rain. Not as hot and I am back to jeans. Adelaide is good as always. Well not GOOD as in GOOD BEHAVED. Last couple of days, she has been aright shit, especially to Patrick, and now even though she isn't being a shit directly to his face, her not wanting to kiss him or hug him, and only have me do all the nice things, just makes it worse, and I feel guilty. We certainly don't intentionally play good cop bad cop with Adelaide, that is for sure, but due to the course of events, it has turned into that, and now she is punishing him for his actions, ie rightfully punishing her dickish behaviour. Kids. Who would have them. Every day she does something I feel like I should have phoned my Dad when I went to bed and apologised for doing the exact same thing, almost 30 years ago to him. Ooops.

Anyway, without further ado, here are my Babycham fawns! They are from circa 1957-1960. Did you know Babycham was the first alcohoic beverage to advertise on UK TV? No? We now you do.

Babycham is quite good, I might have to go and buy some now! I'm glad they arrived, I was so worried they were going to get broken.

Scarlett also does the good cop bad cop thing, I'm bad cop, she says darling things such as, I don't want mummy to come with us, or Why isn't daddy here, I don't like you mummy. Charming....!

Thanks Chrissy! Things lightened up! The bad stuff wasn't thankfully first hand drama, but it still affected us greatly none the less!

Sam! I never realised that Babycham was just basically pear cider hahah!!

Amy! Thank you again for sending those to me, it was much much appreciated.
